Terms of Service
Last updated November 5, 2026
Realm of Raids ("the game", "we") is a free online strategy game at realmofraids.com, run by an independent developer in Canada. By playing the game or buying shards you agree to these terms.
Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and to any purchase.
Your account
You can play as a guest; a guest hold is tied to your browser and is lost if you clear its data. Save your hold to an account (username and password) to keep it on any device. Keep your password secret: you are responsible for what happens on your account. One person may have more than one hold, but you may not buy, sell or trade accounts.
Fair play
Do not cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, attack or overload our servers, or harass, threaten or spam other players. Usernames, base names and chat must not be offensive. We may remove content, reset progress gained by cheating, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
Shards and virtual items
Shards, gold, ember, troops, buildings and other items in the game are virtual. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not your property: you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them in the game. Purchases are delivered to the hold you choose as soon as the payment is confirmed. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Refunds: see the Refund Policy.
The game changes
The game is in early access. We may change, balance, add or remove features, items and prices, and we may reset or end the game. If we ever close the game for good, we will tell players in the game at least 30 days before.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running and your hold safe, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of bugs, or that progress can never be lost. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province where the developer lives. Nothing in them takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the place where you live.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and playing after a change means you accept it. Questions: use the Contact support form (also in the game: the gear button, then Contact support).
