Shards
Shards are the rare resource. Use them to:
- Finish a build, upgrade, research or army at once.
- Pay the rest when you are short of gold or ember.
- Buy gold or ember in the in-game shop.
Get shards for free
- Claim achievement rewards in your profile.
- Clear trees: you may find shards.
Buy shards
Buy them in the game (Build → Shop) or on the web shop with your username. Payments go through Stripe; your card details never reach the game. Shards arrive within a minute.
